Introducing GlowMark
GlowMark™ is a Visual Tactical Glow in The Dark Safety Marker System, that Harvests Light from the Sun or artificial light sources during the day and glows for many hours at night or in low level light conditions. This lighting method is 100% free from electrical power or solar storage requirements, and batteries which are harmful to the environment. The SGCMIKII Glow Compound with less embodied energy in its manufacture and production process than using standard photovoltaic cells will glow for more than 48 hrs each day before it needs to be exposed to light so it can recharge itself ready for when it becomes dark again.
Practical Testing
In practical testing, after only 8 minutes of exposure to daylight, a marker glowed for more than 48 hours until it required recharging, which shows that is more than enough hours to last throughout the night into the early morning in external locations and internally in the event of a power failure or Fire where it will be Dark and Smoked Filled, GlowMark™ will be visible to guide users to Fire Exits which can greatly reduce the risk of casualties.
